First of all, let me start by saying that the fitness section isn’t for meal prep, calorie counting, or macro counting. The WGOWJ fitness blog is all about exercise and mental health. More specifically, I want to emphasize helping people find exercise that they enjoy. Proper exercise is crucial for anyone with mental illnesses and I hope to use the fitness section to share fun and interesting exercises with people. I might share push-up variations, a kettlebell workout, or a workout on a heavy bag – just to name a few. Some of these workouts will require equipment, some of them may not.
You’re never going to start exercising if you can’t find anything that you like. Not enough people put that time in to find out what they want to do, because it’s easier to just not exercise altogether. I hope to use the fitness section to help people find more efficient ways to incorporate exercise into their lives.
